If you've worked with me before you know I bring a very audacious, trickster, decolonizing perspective that is refreshing and profoundly unbiased and non-judgmental. We will play games, scheme, and experiment with our kids (but not in a problematic way lol). You don’t learn to ride a bike by thinking about it. Very demure.
“We’ve accomplished more with you in two months than in 15 years of therapy. You cut through BS like a knife.”
- 1:1 client
I am NOT for you if believe I have less to offer as a coach and not a therapist, I am NOT for you if you think your kid is the problem, I am not for you if you are looking for a magic pill to make parenting easy.
“You can’t teach your kid social-emotional skills without having them yourself first. That’s what this course teaches: the awareness, relating and communication skills we were never given as kids because our parents didn’t have them either. The cycle can end with you. It can end with this course.”

I’m not one to promise results or progress. I don’t think that’s real. You are in charge of you. I have zero control over you. What I can promise I that I will share the tools and knowledge that:
make me a highly sought after parenting coach and educator
turned my personal parenting from a hot mess into something that impresses people to the point of complimenting me on the reg
turned my personal parenting from something that felt scary and overwhelming into something I feel genuinely confident, capable, joyful and present doing (and I have neurospicy ones with birth trauma!)
genuinely excite me because of the results I get and see my clients getting

What the 12 teachings will cover:
1) PCA - Person Centered Relating - a framework and skillset for relating competently and for making relational decisions that give satisfying results. Learning to send and receive communication.
2) NVC - Non-Violent Communication - a framework and process for communicating and learning to interpret intense, unskillful, aggressive or mean communication constructively. De-escalation strategies.
3) CPS - Collaborative Pro-Active Solutions - a framework and process for collaborating and problem-solving with your child. A conversational structure that holds instead of structure that oppresses.
4) Parenting Triggers - all parents get triggered by their kids. Learning how to notice, process and decrease triggers and your reaction to them.
5) Boundaries - Do you teeter back and forth between parenting too permissively and too controllingly? Or maybe you want to be less authoritarian OR less permissive but don’t know how or fear a negative outcome for you or your child?
6) Screens - this will be fun - bring all your values, rules, fears, and opinions on screens! I will share my thoughts - and they’re likely not what you anticipate. Everyone from no-screen to unlimited screen households will benefit.
7) Play - This covers play as connection and as process. Learn how play (for ALL ages) can help with co-regulation, communication and processing conflict or threat.
8) Unshaming - one of the most powerful ways I have found to increase parenting capacity and to work with triggers. A great tool for parents who carry guilt, shame or have a strong inner critic.
9) What to do with refusal or a child’s “no” - this can be super triggering/disempowered territory, so we’ll spend extra time here.
10) Nervous System 101 - nervous system awareness and care is FOUNDATIONAL and LIFE-CHANGING - and I mean awareness/care for both YOUR OWN system as well as your child. It’s at 10 on this list but that’s definitely not in order of importance or when this will get taught.
11) The 6 P’s framework - in old school parenting, parents are meant to prepare, protect and provide for their kids. We add to this framework the modern parenting Ps of : perceive, process and practice - I’ll go into all of these more in the course.
12) Power, Control + Authority - and all the sneaky ways this goes sideways even if we are the most gentle parent ever. How to have a cleaner and more skillful relationship with both your own power and agency and your child’s power and agency.
BONUS: The 13th Teaching: Neurodivergence as Medicine for the Culture - a lesson on being radically neuroaffirming and seeing neurodivergence through a decolonized and unshamed lens.
