Tweaking your manifestation practice so it feels better. We’ll get as many people in the hot seat as we can - we’ll peep your astrology too if you want to make sure the manifestation tune-up is self-appropriate.

 
 

Here's everything that rubbed me the wrong way about manifestation: 

  1. The idea the your thoughts are powerful enough to change your reality. (Whoa - way to make someone's brain their worst enemy, if it isn't already, lol. And...total BS

  2. The idea that your unconscious beliefs are super easy to shift - and if you can't shift them, you're weak/bad/doing it wrong. (Even with the amazing advancements in trauma reprocessing technologies, for most of us, healing and updating maladaptive survival patterns is a lifelong journey. Deep nervous system repatterning work is spiralic, not linear.)

  3. The idea that you can manifest your way out of oppressive structures and enduring external circumstances. (I mean, you can deepen your connection to your agency and do lots and lots of self-care, but capitalism and being chained to a narcissistic co-parent is still…brutal. And not going away.)

  4. A subtle but strong puritanism and self-flagellation. If you weren't manifesting, you were somehow bad/wrong/low vibes/scarcity energy. And if you weren't manifesting, you had to fix something about yourself. (Bb - “low vibes” is likely just natural self expression and normal emotional experience. Being calm + positive and taking the high road all the time? That's new-age-y self-oppression.)

  5. The complete lack of acknowledgement of factors such as privilege and archetypal nature (eg, personality/ character/ predisposition). (Guess what? People who are naturally Eeyore types will have a harder time than people who are naturally Tigger types! And that's FINE. And there's nothing WRONG with our Eeyores. Oh, also? A connected movie star can probably more easily manifest their dreams.)


Manifestation became a lot easier to stomach and work with when I: 

  • Learned the neuroscience of how the brain works, including how audaciously predictive it is (aka it sacrifices precision for size/speed), how subjective it is about reality (all our perceptions of reality are colored by our implicit/associative memory), and the possibilities (and limits) of neuroplasticity and “neural updates.”

  • Stopped shaming myself for being a “bad” manifestor and began to discover my unique manifestation cheat codes - that were self-appropriate to my unique system.

  • Started prioritizing how I felt inside to what I was (or wasn't) manifesting outside.

  • Stopped taking manifestation so seriously and just began to treat it as a fun extra plaything vs. the sole vehicle for life progress.


I've never wanted to drop my manifestation practice completely, and also, I can't stand how most people teach it and talk about manifestation. 

 

So…I'm offering MANIFESTATION DROPOUT GROUP COACHING where you can come:

  • Workshop your manifestation practice so it's self-appropriate for you,

  • Clean out all the subtle shame-self-blame gunk, and

  • Try out lots of different manifestation variations, techniques, teachings, and trouble-shoots so

  • Your manifestation practice no longer feels like a bypass-y mix of pressure and failure and instead feels like something you actually grok and can sustainably engage with.

Stipulations:

Must be able to come live!

Must be comfortable being recorded.

Must be ok with the recording being shared.

Must have some experience dabbling with manifestation.
