the archetypal map as the paradoxical key to change

The archetypal map astrology shows us doesn’t excuse anything - but it does create a container to relax and expand into.

Accessing your archetypal map is profoundly insightful, supportive, and freeing.

There’s a saying that I learned from a yoga teacher ages ago. This saying, more than *any other,* I’ve felt has really resonated and has been a resource for me countless times and has felt like a key insight every time.

It is: It’s not ok to go until it’s ok to stay.

This quote says the same thing in a different way: I feel I have become more adequate in letting myself be what I am. It becomes easier for me to accept myself as a decidedly imperfect person, who by no means functions at all times in the way in which I would like to function. The curious paradox is that when I accept myself as I am, then change. -Carl Rogers

In my opinion - and experience - having an archetypal understanding of the self makes it easier to stay. To be with ourselves exactly as we are. It’s profoundly permissive and validating.

As Carl Rogers says, the curious paradox is, that acceptance of what is somehow unlocks change. And that’s where you can put neuroplasticity to use - the change is supported and accelerated by a powerful new understanding of - and new relationship with - your brain and your mind. That new orientation is life-changing.
